Maybe the most important contributor to a poorly performing computer is malware. Usually this is related to downloading a software that includes spyware, by not having browser security settings high enough, by carelessly downloading P2P files, or by declining to install security patches regularly.
Stage 1. Revise the explanations of your anti virus and operate a full scan of your drive in Safe Mode. Solve any unfixable problems. Note that some viruses require additional measures until they may be removed; generally a web search will find specific directions or a particular removal tool. 2. If the slowness is unexpected, and you have recently downloaded an application, the issue may live there. Test this by fully eliminating it. A sensible user will generally perform a web search about the application before installing because in most cases, any possible difficulty with malware or inferior performance will have surfaced.

Step 5. Delete unused applications and transfer old files to your CD. Unplayed games, tons of family images, zipped files which you have already opened, applications you have not used in two years, software for that old printer you put away last year—these are a few examples of files you can delete. Then use Window’s Disk Clean-up to remove temporary internet files, temporary PC health files, etc.
(Note for sophisticated users: some experts would contain the additional care step of cleaning up the Windows registry, and you’ll find plenty of programs to assist do that. For the most part, so this measure is not included, you may do severe harm by creating registry changes, registry care will not make a significant difference, and unless you are very comfy with Windows, and carefully make copies of the registry
Step 6. Have it fix Windows Xp Error Type 225.
Action 7. Defragment your personal computer.
