I’m posting a summary checklist of basic things you can do to resolve this problem, and briefly discussing the three most common causes : malware, uncontrolled applications, and insufficient care, because many readers reveal their computer reacting slowly.
Maybe the greatest contributor to a poorly performing computer is malware. Generally this is associated with downloading a software that contains spyware, by not having browser security settings large enough, by carelessly downloading P2P files, or by declining to install security sections in a timely manner.
