Maybe the most important contributor to a poorly performing computer is malware.
Step 1. Update the explanations of your antivirus and run a full scan of your hard drive in Safe Mode. Solve any unfixable problems. Notice that some viruses need extra measures until they could be removed; normally a websearch will locate specific instructions or a particular removal tool. 2. If the sluggishness is abrupt, and you’ve recently downloaded an application, the issue might live there. Test this by fully removing it.
