Malware
Possibly the greatest factor to a poorly performing computer is malware.
Step 1. Revise the definitions of your anti-virus and operate a complete scan of your hard disk in Safe Mode. Resolve any unfixable issues. Note that some viruses require extra steps before they may be removed; generally a websearch will find specific directions or a special removal tool. If you can’t find a answer, use the Bc forums to request support.
2. If the slowness is sudden, and you’ve recently downloaded an application, the issue may reside there. Test this by completely eliminating it. A user will normally perform a web search about the program before downloading it because in most instances, any possible difficulty with malware or inferior performance will have surfaced.
Step three. Adware and Spyware can radically impact your personal computer’s functionality, and these are throughout the Web. A very recent study indicated that one out-of every 20 executable files on Websites is spyware, and 1 in 25 domains include at least one bit of spyware waiting for victims.
Revise the definitions of your anti spyware applications and scan your hard drives in Safe Mode. Seasoned users will regularly run several of the applications, because each business has its own standards for what constitutes spyware and will just search against their own established. Lack of Care
Stage 5. Cleanup your hard drive (preparation for Step 7). Delete unused applications and transfer old files to a CD. Unplayed games, lots of family pictures, zipped files which you have previously opened, applications you have not found in two years, software for that old printer you put away last year—these are some examples of files you can delete.
(Note for high level users: some specialists would contain the added maintenance step of cleaning up the Windows registry, and you’ll find several applications to assist try this. For the most part, so this step isn’t contained, you may do severe damage by making registry modifications, registry care won’t make a major difference, and unless you’re quite comfortable with Windows, and cautiously make copies of-the registry
Action 6. Run scandisk / checkdisk in Safe Mode. Have it fix Http 1.1 500 Server Error.
Stage 7. Defragment your computer. Windows tends to put new documents in any available open space; defragging will place related segments of files closer together so your read arm has less going around the hard drive to do, saving wear and tear while racing up plans.
