Malware
Perhaps the most important factor to a badly performing computer is malware. Often this is associated with downloading an application that contains spyware, by not having browser security settings large enough, by carelessly downloading P2P files, or by failing to install security areas in a timely manner.
Stage 1. Update the definitions of your antivirus and operate a complete scan of your hard drive in Safe Mode. Resolve any unfixable issues. Notice that some infections need additional measures until they may be removed; ordinarily a websearch will find specific instructions or a special removal tool. If you can’t find a solution, use the BC forums to obtain support.
2. You have recently saved an application, and if the sluggishness is surprising, the issue may reside there. Check this by entirely removing it. A user will normally perform a websearch about the application before installing because in most instances, any possible issue with malware or poor performance will have appeared.
Action three. Adware and Spyware can dramatically impact your computer’s performance, and these are throughout the Web. A very recent study indicated that one out-of every 20 executable files on Web sites is spyware, and 1 in 25 domains feature at least one bit of spyware waiting for victims.
Experienced customers will regularly run 2 or 3 of the applications, because each business has its own requirements for what constitutes spyware and will simply search against their own set. (A record of very good, free anti spyware programs is provided by BC). Again, solve any open issues before proceeding to the next step.
For additional reading about Malicious software and some malware removal applications, use BC’s Tutorial section; most of the programs have very great Help documents that clarify how they function as well as the distinctive features of each.
Uncontrolled Applications
Stage 4. Evaluation applications that self-start on startup. You computer may be a battleground for your consideration. Many programs, for instance, install a quick-start feature that allows them to be exposed promptly; other programs will include an automated update feature that requires them to be running in the background. Your launching Windows are slowed down by each of these and each needs a little bit of resources while your computer is running.
The simplest method to review and than to manage start-ups will be to-use one of the numerous small resources available (see the Bc list of free apps). You may use its startup tool that lists startups and allows you to show off any you don’t want, if, for instance, you have Spybot Search and Destroy. Remember that BC maintains a quite comprehensive Startup Database that contains information about whether the item is required, elective, or not needed, if you are uncertain about what can be safely removed.
At the same time, remember that all those icons on your own Desktop also take a modest number of trunk time to place themselves.
Lack of Care
Stage 5. Cleanup your hard drive (preparation for Action 7). Delete unused applications and transfer old files into a CD. Unplayed games, lots of family images, zipped files that you have already opened, applications you have not found in two years, software for the old printer you put away last year—these are a few examples of files you can delete. Then use Window’s Disk Clean-up to delete temporary internet files, temporary PC health files, etc.
(Note for advanced level users: some professionals would contain the additional maintenance step of cleaning up the Windows registry, and there are several programs to help do that. For the most part, registry maintenance will not make a vital difference, and unless you are really comfortable with Windows, and cautiously make backups of the registry, you can do severe harm by making registry modifications, so this step isn’t contained
Action 6. Have it repair Solution For Xp Error Code 10000050.
Step 7. Defragment your computer.
Hopefully, since you have have finished, you will see a marked enhancement in pc operation.
