Maybe the most important contributor to a badly performing computer is malware.
Action 1. Update the explanations of your anti virus and operate a full scan of your hard disk drive in Safe Mode. Solve any unfixable problems. Note that some viruses require extra steps before they could be removed; typically a web search will find specific directions or a special removal tool. If you cannot find a answer, use the Bc forums to request assistance.
Step Two. If the slowness is sudden, and you have recently saved an application, the problem may reside there. Test this by fully eliminating it. A sensible user will generally perform a websearch about the program before getting because in most cases, any possible issue with malware or poor performance will have appeared.
Step three. Adware and Spyware can dramatically effect your personal computer’s performance, and these are all over the Internet. A very recent study showed that one out of every 20 executable files on Websites is spyware, and 1 in 25 domains contain at least one piece of spyware waiting for sufferers.

For the most part, so this measure isn’t included, you can do serious damage by making registry modifications, registry maintenance won’t make a major difference, and unless you’re very comfortable with Windows, and carefully make backups of the registry
