Action 1. Revise the definitions of your anti virus and run a complete scan of your hard disk drive in Safe Mode. Resolve any unfixable issues. Step Two. You have recently saved an application, and if the sluggishness is surprising, the problem might rest there. Check this by totally eliminating it. For the most part, registry maintenance will not make a critical difference, and unless you’re very comfortable with Windows, and cautiously make copies of-the registry, you may do serious damage by making registry modifications, so this step is not included
