Maybe the greatest factor to a poorly performing computer is malware.
Stage 1. Revise the definitions of your antivirus and run a complete scan of your drive in Safe Mode. Resolve any unfixable problems. Note that some infections require additional steps before they could be removed; ordinarily a websearch will locate specific directions or a special removal tool. Use the BC forums to request support, if you fail to find a answer.
Step Two. If the sluggishness is surprising, and you’ve recently saved an application, the problem might reside there. Test this by entirely eliminating it. A user will normally perform a web search about the application before downloading it because in most cases, any potential trouble with malware or poor performance will have appeared.
Stage 3. Adware and Spyware can radically impact your computer’s operation, and these are all over the Web.
Revise the definitions of your anti spyware applications and scan your hard drives in Safe Mode. Then use Window’s Disk Cleanup to delete temporary internet files, temporary PC health files, etc.
(Note for higher level users: some professionals would include the additional care stage of cleaning up the Windows registry, and there are several apps to help do this. For the most part, so this measure is not contained, you may do serious damage by making registry changes, registry maintenance will not make a vital difference, and unless you are very comfy with Windows, and cautiously make copies of-the registry
Step 6. Run scandisk / checkdisk in Safe Mode. Have it fix Kb304282.
Action 7. Defragment your personal computer.
