Possibly the greatest contributor to a badly performing computer is malware.
Action 1. Revise the definitions of your anti-virus and operate a complete scan of your hard disk drive in Safe Mode. Resolve any unfixable issues. Note that some viruses need additional measures before they can be removed; normally a web search will find specific directions or a special removal tool. If you cannot find a solution, use the Bc forums to obtain help.
Step Two. You’ve recently downloaded an application, and if the slowness is unanticipated, the problem may reside there. Check this by entirely eliminating it. A user will typically perform a websearch about the application before downloading it because in most cases, any potential issue with malware or inferior performance will have surfaced.
Stage 3. Adware and Spyware can drastically effect your computer’s performance, and these are throughout the Web.
Seasoned users will consistently run two or three of the applications, because each business has its own requirements for what constitutes spyware and will only search against their own set. (A set of really great, free anti spyware applications is given by BC). Again, resolve any open issues before continuing to the next step.

Stage 4. Evaluation programs that self-launch on startup. You computer may be a battleground for your attention. Many programs, for instance, install a fast-start feature which permits them to be opened quickly; other programs may include an automatic update feature that requires them to be working in the background. Your launching Windows are slowed down by each of these and each needs a little bit of sources while your personal computer is running.
The easiest method to review and than to manage start ups would be to work with one of the numerous little resources available (see the Bc list of free applications). Remember that Bc maintains a very comprehensive Startup Database that includes information about whether the item is required, discretionary, or not needed, if you are unsure about what can be safely removed.
At the same time, remember that all those icons on your own Desktop also take a small number of boot time to put themselves.
Lack of Upkeep
Stage 5. Clean-up your hard drive (preparation for Step 7). Delete unused applications and transfer old files to a CD. Unplayed games, lots of family pictures, zipped files that you have previously opened, applications you have not used in two years, software for that old printer you put away last year—these are a few examples of files you can delete.
(Note for high level users: some professionals would contain the added care stage of cleaning up the Windows registry, and you will find several apps to assist try this. For the most part, so this measure isn’t contained, you may do severe harm by creating registry changes, registry maintenance won’t make a critical difference, and unless you are quite comfortable with Windows, and carefully make copies of the registry
Stage 6. Have it fix Http 542 Error.
Step 7. Defragment your pc.
Hopefully, since you have have ended, you’ll see a marked improvement in computer functionality.
